Most clients use their accountants after their year end or quarterly if VAT terms are prepared. There are numerous other times when it is helpful to discuss matters with your client such as:
1. Buying a van – should it be lease or higher purchase?
2. Whether to register for VAT
3. Whether to go a special VAT scheme, such as flat rate scheme or cash accounting.
4. Year end planning is often helpful.
Many of my clients just give me a ring from time to time: it doesn’t always require a visit. So next time you have a financial decision, why not just pick up the phone?
